How does the Future financial planning process work?

We know what it’s like trying to balance work, children and other commitments. That’s why our service is fully digital, meaning it fits around you. You’ll still benefit from a personal relationship with your own financial planner, but meetings are online, meaning everything can be done from the comfort of your own living room or workplace.

Future’s financial planning process has been built to help you achieve your future goals. Only by ensuring that we truly understand your circumstances and what motivates you, can we be confident that we are providing the best possible advice. Each stage of the process is designed to meet a specific purpose, and there’s no obligation to move onto the next stage if you don’t feel it’s right for you.

Vision

The first step in our process is the vision stage. We’ll work together to understand what’s important to you and where your priorities lie. This will involve identifying any key goals you have and creating a balance between enjoying today and planning for tomorrow.

You’ll meet with your personal financial planner online who will talk you through everything you need to know. There’s no cost for this meeting and there’s no obligation to go any further if you don’t feel it’s right for you.

Collaboration

Once we’ve gathered and analysed all the relevant information, we’ll begin the collaboration process. We will use lifetime cashflow modelling interactively to visualise your financial future. This process enables us to explore different scenarios and establish what matters most to you. Planning for your future doesn’t mean giving up the things you enjoy today, but rather finding the balance that’s right for you.

We work together to build a financial plan that helps remove any financial anxiety and gives you peace of mind. We’ll then provide you with written recommendation outlining the action you need to take to bring your plan to life.

Implementation

When you are happy with your plan, we can then take care of everything on your behalf — from managing the set-up of new accounts and dealing with any existing policies to consolidating your financial paperwork. We use online applications and digital signatures wherever possible to make this stage hassle free.

Although we make things as easy as possible, you’re the one in the driving seat so you’re always in control of your own financial future.

Lifetime Planning

Creating a financial plan is a great start to taking control of your financial future, however it is just that: a start. Over time, your personal circumstances can change, as can your future vision and the world that we live in.

It is therefore important to review your plan on an ongoing basis, ensuring that it remains relevant to your life and that it continues to provide you with the reassurance that everything is under control. If not, we’ll adapt the plan together so that you stay on track to achieve your vision.
